There's a story about the narrator stopping his reading to see Baba. What happened, and what does it show about Baba's teachings?

📖 Chapter 18

In an incident recounted in Chapter 18, the narrator was in the middle of reading the Bhagavat when the group started heading to the Masjid. Wanting to hear Baba's stories, he put the book aside and went along. However, Baba was not pleased. The text explains that "in Baba’s mind, there was no satisfaction other than the Bhagavat, which had been left in distress." Consequently, Baba insisted that the narrator return and read the remaining part of the text he had interrupted. This event highlights Baba's profound reverence for the sacred scriptures and shows that he prioritized the completion of an assigned spiritual practice even above devotees gathering to be in his physical presence.
