The text warns against having a mind for argumentation. What are the negative consequences it describes?

📖 Chapter 2

Chapter 2 strongly advises against a mind inclined towards argumentation, associating it with severe negative consequences. The text states that where there is argumentation, there is an abundance of ignorance and Maya, leading to bad thoughts and false logic. Such a person is deemed unfit for self-knowledge because only ignorance consumes them. This mindset is said to result in a life devoid of happiness, both in this world and the next, leaving the person with only unhappiness everywhere and always. Engaging in such "useless effort" is therefore seen as a significant barrier to spiritual progress.
