The text talks about achieving the spiritual goal. What qualities does a seeker need, and who is ultimately their companion on this path?

📖 Chapter 45

According to Chapter 45, a 'blessed seeker of liberation' must possess specific qualities. These include the ability to discriminate between the eternal and the transient, the renunciation of the fruits of enjoyment in this world and the next, and the achievement of six-fold virtues like calmness and self-control. The text strongly emphasizes self-reliance, urging the seeker to give up hope in others and maintain strong self-confidence. While worldly relations like parents, children, and spouses are shown to be unreliable for spiritual attainment, the text concludes that upon final reflection, 'only one’s own self remains at the end.' Therefore, the seeker must rely on themselves to achieve the spiritual goal.
