The text states Baba told Cholkar "you and I are one." What philosophical teachings did Baba provide to explain this concept of unity?

📖 Chapter 15

Following the incident with the sugared tea, Sai Baba offered Cholkar a profound teaching on divine unity, as recorded in Chapter 15. Baba explained that he is always with his devotees, regardless of physical distance, stating, "My home is in your heart; I am your inner self." He elaborated that he resides within all beings and is the one who acts through them. Baba's presence permeates everything—insects, ants, birds, animals, and all people one meets. Therefore, he instructed Cholkar to bow to the inner self, recognizing Baba in all creation. This universal immanence is the foundation of the teaching, "Do not keep any distance from me; you and I are one."
