The text speculates about the tiger's past life. What karmic backstory is suggested, and how did meeting Sai lead to its salvation?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 31

Chapter 31 proposes a compelling karmic explanation for the tiger's fate. The scripture speculates that the tiger may have been a meritorious person in a previous life who, out of pride, insulted a devotee of Hari and was consequently cursed to take on a cruel birth as a tiger. However, a "counter-curse" was also in effect, which destined it to come to Sai's feet. As detailed in Verses 153 and 154, this encounter was the culmination of its destiny. Through Sai's darshan (sacred sight), the tiger's sins were burned away, the karmic bonds of suffering were broken, and the iron chain of attachment was shattered, leading to its ultimate salvation and freedom from the cycle of rebirth.
