The text says Sai Baba left his body. Does this mean he died like a normal person, and how should I understand his passing?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 43

According to the teachings in Chapter 43, Sai Baba did not die in the ordinary sense. For saints and avatars like him, birth and death are described as false imaginations. Death is defined as the separation of the body and senses, but for Sai, who is the complete Supreme Brahman, these concepts do not apply. The text explains that Sai Samarth could die at will and chose to merge himself into the unmanifest by burning his body in the fire of Yoga. His passing was a voluntary transition back to his unmanifest state, not a cessation of existence, as he continues to live in the hearts of his devotees.
