Chapter 33 provides footnotes detailing two different scorpion sting cures that highlight Sai Baba's varied methods. For Bapusaheb Jog, the remedy was simply Baba's word. When Jog went to Baba in pain, Maharaj just said, "It will be alright, go!" and the pain vanished completely before he even left the compound. In contrast, the Jyotishi Buwa, who was stung in Rahata, had to actively participate in his own cure. He applied the Udi given by Maharaj and continuously performed Nama Smarana (chanting of the name). His pain stopped only after this application of Udi and effort, which then established his faith.
The text mentions a few scorpion sting incidents. How did the remedies differ for Bapusaheb Jog versus the Jyotishi Buwa?
