The preface describes different forms of "Guru service" through writing. Can you elaborate on the distinctions made between worldly service and service that yields spiritual fruits?

📖 Chapter 0

The preface makes a clear distinction between different levels of Guru service through writing. As detailed in Chapter 0, writing biographies of worldly figures is a worldly service whose importance is limited by space and time and does not yield spiritual fruits. A higher form of service is writing biographies of many saints, which does provide spiritual benefits but is considered a partial or one-sided approach. The supreme and most certain service for attaining salvation is writing the biography of one's own Sadguru. This service, combined with personal study and recitation done with faith and devotion, is considered a complete service of body and speech that yields the ultimate spiritual fruit without interfering with family life.
