The book mentions Sai Baba was very generous, but was his charity predictable? Did he give money to everyone who asked?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 29

According to Chapter 29 of the Shri Sai Satcharita, Sai Baba was indeed renowned for his generous disposition and for distributing money abundantly. However, his charity was not predictable, and he did not give to everyone. The text states, "he did not give to everyone - no one knew his mind." While he gave to the poor, needy, and pilgrims, sometimes giving ten or fifty rupees, he would also at times send people back empty-handed. Chapter 29 explains this by noting that only those for whom the "auspicious time had arrived" would receive this blessing. This illustrates that Baba's actions, while compassionate, followed an incomprehensible wisdom rather than a fixed rule.
