Chapter 29 recounts the visit of a group of devotees from the Madras region. According to verses 2 and 3, this group, whose fame had spread for their devotional singing, stopped at Shirdi for Baba's darshan while on a pilgrimage to Kashi. The group consisted of four people: a man, his mother-in-law, his wife, and his daughter, as detailed in verse 10. They belonged to the Ramdasi sect and performed devotional singing with great enthusiasm, which brought them peace. As per verses 11 to 13, Baba's interactions with them were unpredictable; he sometimes gave them eight rupees and eight annas, occasionally offered them a sweet called bafri, and at other times sent them away empty-handed, which was his constant, unfixed manner.
Tell me the story of the Ramdasi devotees from Madras who visited Shirdi as mentioned in Chapter 29.
