Tell me more about Anandnath Maharaj. How did he end up in Shirdi and what was his opinion of Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 0

Anandnath Maharaj was a disciple of the renowned Swami of Akkalkot. His journey to Shirdi was quite spontaneous. As Chapter 0 explains, a group of Shirdi residents, including Madhavrao Balwant Deshpande and Dagdu Bhau Gaike, had gone to Savargaon for Anandnath Maharaj's darshan. As they were preparing to leave for Shirdi, Anandnath Maharaj suddenly ran, sat in their cart, and insisted on coming with them, despite protests from the local people. Upon his arrival in Shirdi, he expressed his profound recognition of Sai Baba's spiritual greatness, stating, 'This is a diamond. You don't know its true value.'
