Dadasaheb Khaparde and his family came to Shirdi and stayed for an extended period, completely immersed in their love for Sai Baba. Chapter 27 mentions that Dadasaheb himself stayed for four months, while his family remained for seven. Their devotion was profound. Dadasaheb, a learned and famous orator, would become silent and humble in Baba's presence. His wife was also exceptionally faithful, demonstrating her devotion by preparing a food offering (naivedya) for Baba every day and fasting until he accepted it.
