Tell me about the horse Shyamakarna and its part in the Chavadi procession.

πŸ“– Chapter 37

The horse, named Shyamakarna, was a prominent feature of the Chavadi procession. Described in Chapter 37 as a copper-colored horse, it was resplendent in full decoration with all its ornaments and had bells jingling on its feet. Initially, Shyamakarna would stand waiting at the courtyard gate of the Masjid. During the procession itself, the horse would be in the lead, walking ahead of Baba and the other devotees as the entire group moved towards the Chavadi, adding to the grandeur of the event.
