Tell me about Sai Baba's first three devotees in Shirdi and their significance.

📖 Chapter 0

Sai Baba's first three devotees in Shirdi were Mhalasapati, Kashiram Shimpi, and Appa Jagle. Mhalasapati was a goldsmith who gave Baba his name. These three friends had a practice of serving saints and fakirs who visited the village. As noted in Chapter 0, all three became total devotees of Maharaj. Kashiram and Appa were fortunate to pass away on an Ekadashi day. Kashiram, in particular, served Baba excellently with his body, mind, and wealth, providing for his needs and even offering his entire money bag.
