Even though Amir Shakkar was forbidden from visiting the Masjid, the location of the Chavadi provided him with ample opportunities for Sai Baba's darshan. As explained in Chapter 22, Baba's daily routine made this possible without any special effort from Amir. Every morning, Baba's path for collecting alms took him right past the Chavadi, allowing Amir to have a vision as He went and returned. Similarly, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi every evening. Most importantly, on alternate days when Baba slept in the Chavadi, they were separated by only a nominal curtain and would talk to each other after other devotees left.
Since Amir was forbidden from going to the Masjid, how did he manage to get Baba's darshan?
