Sai's teachings often emphasize the present moment. Why is life on earth considered more valuable than the heavenly realms for a devotee's spiritual growth?

📖 Chapter 37

According to the philosophy presented in Chapter 37, the pursuit of a heavenly abode is misguided. Heaven is described as a temporary place for sensual enjoyment, from which one falls after their merit is exhausted. The text provocatively states there is no real difference in the nature of sensual pleasure, whether experienced by Indra in a celestial garden or a donkey in a dung-heap. In contrast, the earth-world, despite its fleeting nature, is of profound importance. Chapter 37 explains that even a momentary life on earth is precious because any action performed here can be offered to God, leading to a state of fearlessness and ultimate liberation.
