Sai Baba is often described with many contradictions, such as being both angry and loving. How does Chapter 10 reconcile these seemingly opposite traits?

📖 Chapter 10

Chapter 10 provides deep insight into Sai Baba's seemingly contradictory nature by explaining the difference between His internal state and external actions. Internally, He was described as an 'abode of self-peace,' completely desireless, and situated in the state of Supreme Brahman. Externally, however, He appeared very active, sometimes angry, and even 'mad-like,' all for the sake of His devotees. As Chapter 10 details, 'sometimes He looked with love, sometimes He ran with a stone in hand.' This duality was a manifestation of His non-dual love, where His external actions, whether loving or harsh, were ultimately for the spiritual benefit of those around Him.
