Many spiritual traditions praise heaven, but the Satcharitra seems to have a different perspective. What is the true nature of the 'heavenly world' and why is the earth-world considered more important?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 challenges the conventional desire for a heavenly abode. It clarifies that true heaven is not a place for sensual enjoyment but a state of being—the Vairaj, or Cosmic Self-form, which is free from mental grief, disease, worry, and fear of death. However, the text argues that this heavenly home is less desirable if it lacks the remembrance of God. It states that the earth-world is of profound importance because even a fleeting life here, when every action is offered to God, can lead to a place of fearlessness. This is why striving for a temporary heaven from which one falls after merit is exhausted is seen as less valuable than a life of devotion on earth.
