Is the Sai Satcharitra considered incomplete since it omits mentions of certain well-known saints?

📖 Chapter 50

The concept of 'completeness' is addressed in a beautiful metaphorical way within the Sri Sai Satcharitra itself. In Chapter 50, the author notes that while the moon wanes, 'Sai is forever complete.' The purpose of the text is not to be a complete historical ledger, which is a worldly and transient form of completeness. Instead, its goal is to guide the devotee towards the eternal and unwavering completeness found in Sai. The book emphasizes that 'Merit sprouts from hearing the stories' and that the supreme goal is to have 'steady devotion to Sai be firmly attached.' Therefore, the Satcharitra's value lies in its power to purify the heart and cultivate this devotion, not in the number of saints it catalogues.
