Hemantpant first arrived in Shirdi and had his darshan of Sai Baba in the year 1910 AD. As detailed in Chapter 2, his journey was a whirlwind event. He arrived in Shirdi between nine and ten in the morning and was staying at Sathe's Wada. Upon getting down from his tonga, he was immediately met by Tatyasaheb Noolkar, who urged him to go for darshan at once, as Baba was nearby. This led to his first, hurried, and deeply impactful meeting where he prostrated at Baba's feet in the dust.
