In what diverse ways did Sai Baba impart wisdom and guidance to those who came to him?

As detailed in Chapter 22, Sai Baba's teaching methods were far from conventional. He gave advice in many different ways, which could be 'meaningful, sometimes prudent, sometimes openly decisive.' His guidance could come through firm silence, which was seen as a discourse on Brahman. At other times, he would speak with hidden meanings, use humor and jokes, or even walk away in anger, leaving ambiguity. This variety shows that his conduct was powerful and beyond the grasp of ordinary mind, intellect, and speech, designed to achieve the ultimate welfare of the devotee through infallible and often unimagined means.
