The author wishes to be immersed in the listeners' interest. In return for listening with patience and faith, the chapter promises immense spiritual rewards. It states that devotees will easily attain the Supreme goal (Paramartha), listeners will gain devotion and liberation, the sincere will find happiness and peace, and the fear of worldly existence will be destroyed.
