In the beginning of Chapter 19, the author uses several examples like offering Aarti to the Sun. What is he trying to convey with these comparisons?

📖 Chapter 19

In Chapter 19, the author expresses a desire to give form and shape to the Supreme Reality, Sai, which he acknowledges is a task that seems inappropriate at first glance. He compares his effort to a devotee performing Aarti with a small wick for the magnificent Sun, or offering a palmful of water back to the vast ocean. The point of these analogies is that the divine, like the Sun or the Ocean, does not judge the action itself but looks only at the devotee's faith. The goal is to honor the devotee's pure intention, not to weigh the right or wrong of the offering, thereby justifying his attempt to describe the indescribable through faith.
