The purpose of the Satcharitra is not informational completeness but spiritual transformation. As stated in Chapter 50, devotees should seek 'steady devotion to Sai' as the 'supreme attainment,' not other forms of liberation or encyclopedic knowledge. The text's objective is to purify the heart through the awakening of devotion. The Satcharitra asks us to hold humility in hearing and to 'perceive Sai in their hearts,' fostering an unbroken non-duality. An absence of a specific detail encourages the devotee to move beyond the letters on the page and experience the essence of Sai, who is 'forever complete,' unlike the waning moon mentioned in Chapter 50.
If the Satcharitra is divinely inspired by Sai, why isn't it complete? Why doesn't it contain information about every saint a devotee might be curious about?
