According to Chapter 8, the human body is indeed described as impure and perishable, a mere 'carriage of flesh, blood, and muscle.' However, its immense value lies in the fact that it is the only vehicle through which the Lord, the Abode of Auspiciousness, can be reached. It is a rare prize, attained through great good fortune. To escape the calamitous cycle of birth and death, one must use this body for spiritual progress. This involves treating the body as a servant, providing only what's needed for sustenance, and applying it toward spiritual practice. Time spent in holy stories is a true gain, while attachment to the body is an obstacle.
If the human body is so impure and perishable, why is it considered valuable, and how should we use it to escape the cycle of birth and death?
