The Sai Satcharitra's purpose is to foster unwavering devotion to Sai and guide the reader towards a state of non-duality. Chapter 50 explains that we should not desire lesser goals like the four types of liberation but instead seek "steady devotion to Sai" as our supreme attainment. The text emphasizes that Sai himself is the one who makes the words speak and is the "thing to be heard, the act of hearing, and the listener." The author, Hemadpant, is just a nominal instrument. Therefore, the absence of a specific saint's name doesn't imply incompleteness but rather directs our focus toward the ultimate goal: recognizing the all-pervading essence of Sai and achieving a pure heart through devotion.
