If saints are beyond the cycle of birth and death, why do they choose to incarnate in physical bodies?

📖 Chapter 43

The texts clarify that saints incarnate by their own will for a specific purpose. Chapter 43 states that they become manifest for the salvation of their devotees and take on various avatars with the sole desire for the welfare of these followers. Their embodiment is an act of compassion, a way to perform the 'task of the avatar for the people.' They are not bound by this process. For them, birth and death are false imaginations. Their physical presence and eventual departure are part of a spontaneous play, a 'yoga for the sake of the devotees' salvation,' rather than a submission to the natural laws that bind others.
