If Sai Baba was so generous, did he give money to everyone who asked?

📖 Chapter 29

While Sai Baba was famously generous, Chapter 29 clarifies that his charity was not predictable, and he did not give to everyone. The text states that this was his constant manner and nothing was ever fixed; sometimes he gave money or sweets, and other times he sent people back empty-handed. Fakirs and beggars always came to his door, but he did not give to all alike. Receiving a blessing from his hand was considered a great fortune reserved for those whose 'auspicious time had arrived.' This illustrates that no one could truly know his mind or the divine reasoning behind his actions.
