If Sai Baba left his physical body, how does he continue to exist and protect his devotees?

Chapter 43 clarifies that Sai Baba leaving his body was not an end but a transformation. He consciously chose to burn his body in the 'fire of Yoga' and merge himself into his previous unmanifest state. In this form, he continues to exist and is said to stay in the hearts of his devotees. The scripture states that by merely remembering his name, all notions of birth and death vanish. He remains the protector of his devotees' cause, and as a powerful being of miraculous avatars, his true form fills the entire moving and non-moving world. Thus, his presence and protection are perpetual, transcending physical limitations.
