If Sai Baba is the one actually writing the story, as stated in the text, why does Hemadpant get credited at the end of every chapter?

According to Chapter 2, Sai Baba explicitly states that He Himself will write His own story and fulfill the devotee's wish. The role of the human author is described as being 'merely a pretext.' The condition for this divine assistance is that the author must dissolve his ego and surrender it at Sai's feet. When the ego is completely dissolved, Sai explains, 'I myself shall enter with 'I-ness' and write with my own hand.' Therefore, while the name 'Hemadpant' appears as the composer, it is understood within this context that he is the chosen instrument or pretext through whom Sai is accomplishing the work.
