If Sai Baba is the 'ocean of Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss,' why did he need to take a human form?

📖 Chapter 16

Chapter 16 of the Sai Satcharitra directly addresses this question. It clarifies that although the Sadguru is inherently complete and desireless ('Aptakama'), he takes on a physical body for a specific, compassionate purpose. The text explicitly states, 'You have taken this body for the sake of helping others, to uplift the poor and lowly.' It further explains that by 'donning the cloak of ignorance,' Baba can relate to and impart knowledge to the ignorant. In this human form, he provides 'sweet instruction' to guide humanity, fulfilling the desires of devotees for service and ultimately making them desireless, just like him.
