The scriptures strongly advise against doubting Baba's continued presence, including in Shirdi. Chapter 43 directly addresses this by stating, 'Let such a doubt not come to the mind; Shri Sai is beyond death.' While it is true that he 'has become one with Brahman' and fills the entire world, Shirdi remains a powerful nexus of his energy. The text affirms his presence by saying, 'Whatever the feeling in one's mind, such is the experience even today.' This proves his continuing influence. His leaving the body in Shirdi consecrated the place, and he remains there in his true, unmanifest form, just as other great saints like Narasimha Saraswati remain in Alandi.
If Sai Baba is no longer in his physical body, is there any point in going to Shirdi?
