If Amir was forbidden from going to the Masjid, how was he still able to get Sai Baba's darshan?

Although Amir was forbidden from visiting the Masjid, the location Baba assigned him in the Chavadi was such that he received Baba's vision automatically and frequently. Chapter 22 details how this happened. Every morning, he could see Baba without leaving his place, as Baba's path for alms went right by the Chavadi. Similarly, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi. Furthermore, on alternate days when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated by only a nominal curtain and a plank door, allowing them to talk with each other after the other devotees left.
