If Amir was forbidden from going to the Masjid, how did he manage to see Baba so often?

Despite being forbidden from visiting the Masjid, Amir's location in the Chavadi providentially allowed him to see Baba frequently. Chapter 22 explains several ways this happened. Daily, Baba's path for morning alms went past the Chavadi, so Amir got an easy vision of Him coming and going. Every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi and salute the directions. Most importantly, on the alternate days when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, there was only a nominal curtain or plank door between them, and they would talk to each other after the other devotees left.
