Chapter 22 explains that although Amir was forbidden from visiting the Masjid, his assigned residence in the Chavadi ironically provided him with frequent, effortless darshan of Sai Baba. His location was such that he could see Baba every morning as Baba passed by the Chavadi to go for alms. In the evenings, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute the directions. Furthermore, on alternate days, Baba would stay in the Chavadi itself, with only a nominal curtain separating them, allowing them to converse.
If Amir Shakkar was forbidden from going to the Masjid, how was he able to get Sai Baba's darshan?
