Writing a detailed biography of a Guru is presented as a profound form of service. As Chapter 0 explains, by creating a detailed poetic Guru biography, the writer performs Guru service. This act then creates a ripple effect that helps build the community. When other devotees also study and perform Parayans of the work, the writer gains the merit of serving God in humanity (Jan-Janardan) and performing public service. Simultaneously, those other devotees who engage with the text are also able to achieve the purpose of their lives, creating a shared spiritual benefit for the entire congregation.
I want to contribute to the Sai community. How does writing about the Guru help, and what are the benefits for others?
