I understand Ramchandra Patil was very ill. How did Sai Baba intervene, and what difficult knowledge did Baba impart to him during this time?

📖 Chapter 42

During a time of unbearable suffering from a severe illness, Ramchandra Dada Patil had become dejected and tired of life. As narrated in Chapter 42, Sai Baba, the embodiment of compassion, suddenly appeared at his bedside at midnight. After Ramchandra despaired and asked about his own death, Baba reassured him, saying, "Your danger to life (Gandantara) has passed; why do you grieve?" However, this comfort was followed by a heavy burden. Baba then revealed a prophecy, stating that he did not see a good fate for Tatya Patil and that Tatya would pass away on Vijayadashami of Shaka 1840. Baba instructed Ramchandra to keep this a secret from Tatya, leaving him with both the relief of his own recovery and the weighty knowledge of his friend's fate.
