I read that Chapter 12 is critical of scholars. What's its take on having faith versus being learned?

📖 Chapter 12

Chapter 12 strongly advocates for the path of devotion and faith over intellectual pride. It warns against the 'stiffness of dry knowledge' and those who, while 'well-versed in the Vedas and Vedangas,' are 'intoxicated with the pride of knowledge' and obstruct devotion. The chapter suggests that such individuals swell uselessly with pride and that one should not keep their company. In contrast, it states that even an ignorant person can overcome the fears of worldly existence purely through the power of faith. As Chapter 12 explains, placing firm faith at the feet of a saint like Sai is what truly destroys ignorance, whereas the riddles of scriptural scholars are never solved.
