I read that Balabuva Satarkar was worried about getting paid for his Kirtan in Shirdi. How was he compensated, and was it a good amount?

📖 Chapter 6

Yes, there was initial uncertainty about his payment. When Balabuva Satarkar spoke with Bhausahab Dixit about performing in Shirdi, Dixit made it clear that there was "no certainty about the fee" and that it was entirely in Sai Baba's hands. Despite this, as Chapter 6 recounts, Baba ensured he was more than fairly compensated. After Balabuva performed the Ram Navami festival, he received an honorarium of "more than a hundred and fifty" rupees. This was a significant amount, described as being equivalent to five years' worth of his income from the Kavthe festival, which brought Balabuva immense joy.
