Chapter 6 recounts that Balabuva Satarkar had an annual duty to perform Kirtan for Ram Navami at Siddha-Kavthe. That particular year, a plague, referred to as Margi, struck the village. Consequently, the festival was cancelled, and letters were sent to Balabuva telling him to come the following year. This provided the perfect opportunity for him to pursue his desire to visit Shirdi. He met with the devotee Dixit and expressed his wish. During their conversation, Kaka Mahajani arrived unexpectedly from Shirdi, distributing Prasad and Udi.
