I read about a Yogi who came to see Baba in Chapter 23. What was he hoping to achieve, and what did he witness instead?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 23

As the story is recounted in Chapter 23, a practitioner of Yoga (Yogabhyasi) who was well-versed in the Yoga Shastras came for Sai Baba's darshan. Despite his deep study, he was unable to achieve Samadhi (intense meditation). He came to Shirdi with the specific intent and hope that if the 'King of Yogis,' Sai Maharaj, would show him grace, his doubts would be cleared and he would surely attain Samadhi. However, upon arriving at the Masjid, what he saw was not an esoteric yogic display, but the very mundane sight of Sai Baba eating bread (bhakar) along with onions.
