I'm trying to understand how to create a community centered on spiritual teachings. What can we learn from Sai Baba's approach as described in the texts?

📖 Chapter 35

Chapter 35 provides a powerful example of Sai Baba's method for building a community, which is based on individual spiritual transformation rather than structured programs. He works by inspiring people and guiding them toward the spiritual path based on their own dispositions. For instance, a man named Boss Dharamsee came to Shirdi full of skepticism. Baba offered him grapes, which Dharamsee disliked because they had seeds. When Baba insisted he eat them, the grapes miraculously became seedless in his mouth. This personal experience shattered his ego, and as the text states, "love for Sai arose in his heart; The eagerness to come to Shirdi became like a firm determination." This shows that the foundation of the community is the profound, personal connection each devotee forms with Baba.
