The story of Boss Dharamsee in Chapter 35 provides a powerful example of how Sai Baba engaged with skeptics. Dharamsee visited Shirdi with a clinical interest, questioning why people came. When offered grapes with seeds, which he disliked and had been forbidden to eat unwashed, his skepticism deepened. He even thought, "If he is a saint, how does he not know I do not like these grapes?" As described in Chapter 35, Baba, knowing his thoughts, insisted he eat them. Upon doing so, Dharamsee discovered the grapes were miraculously seedless. This personal experience completely transformed him, causing his ego to drop away and be replaced by love and a firm determination to return to Shirdi.
I'm skeptical about Sai Baba's miracles. How did he deal with doubters who came to see him?
