I'm interested in the musical and celebratory aspects of the Chavadi procession. What kinds of instruments and decorations were used?

📖 Chapter 37

The Chavadi procession was a vibrant sensory experience, rich with music and decorations. According to Chapter 37, a wide array of musical instruments filled the air with sound. These included horns and trumpets of various shapes, 'Tas' and 'Jhanj', cymbals, mridanga, and veena. The celebration was also visual, with fireworks like 'Nale' and 'Chandrajyoti' lighting the way, torches shining, and devotees carrying banners and flags. A beautifully adorned horse named Shyamakarna, with bells on his feet, was also a prominent part of the procession.
