I'm disappointed the book doesn't mention my favorite saint. How can I still find value in the Satcharitra when it seems incomplete?

📖 Chapter 50

Your feeling is understandable, but the Shri Sai Satcharitra offers a beautiful way to reframe this experience. Chapter 50 teaches that the ultimate goal is the 'awakening of devotion to the Saint,' which purifies the heart. It uses the analogy of finding a pearl and discarding the shell, urging us to seek the essence. Even if a specific name isn't present, the text explains that hearing the 'stories of Saints' in general causes merit to sprout and sin to vanish. By focusing on this principle from Chapter 50 and seeing Sai as the essence of the book and the reading itself, the Satcharitra becomes complete in its true purpose.
