According to Chapter 35, the stage for the miracle was set when a devotee named Kaka went to buy an offering for Baba. He intended to buy seedless grapes, but they were not available, so he bought the variety with seeds. When Baba offered these grapes to Boss Dharamsee, the latter was displeased and internally questioned Baba's awareness. The miracle unfolded in two stages. First, Dharamsee ate some grapes and discreetly put the seeds in his pocket. Then, Baba gave him more. Troubled, Dharamsee just held them until Baba commanded him to eat. Upon obeying, he was greatly surprised to find this second batch was entirely seedless. His belief was solidified when he confirmed with another devotee, Tarkhad, that the grapes he received still had seeds, proving the miracle was a personal experience meant just for him.
