Chapter 10 provides a fascinating description of Sai Baba's unusual sleeping arrangements. He would sleep on a narrow wooden plank, described as being four cubits long and only one span (about nine inches) wide. This plank was not on the floor but was hung from the rafters of the mosque like a swing, tied at both ends with old rags. The mystery, as highlighted in Chapter 10, was twofold: firstly, no one ever saw when He climbed up to the plank or when He descended from it, as His movements were imperceptible. Secondly, it was a marvel how such a flimsy setup could even support His weight, leading to the conclusion that it was only possible due to His great Siddhis, or divine powers.
I'm curious about Sai Baba's daily life. What were his sleeping arrangements, and what was so mysterious about them?
