I heard there's something unusual about the ending of Shri Sai Satcharita. What happened with the 52nd chapter?

The history of the final chapters is quite interesting. The preface, as documented in Chapter 0, explains that the author, Annasaheb, originally intended for the 52nd chapter to contain a summary (Simhavalokan) and a formal conclusion (Avataranika). However, the published version of Chapter 52 only contains praises of the Sadguru and the benefits of reading the text. It is believed that the slips of paper Annasaheb wrote on, which contained the actual summary and conclusion, were lost. To resolve this, a new concluding chapter was prepared and added to the book as Chapter 53.
