I heard Amir Shakkar was basically imprisoned in the Chavadi. How did he still manage to get Sai Baba's darshan?

Although Amir Shakkar's nine-month stay in the Chavadi felt like imprisonment, the location was uniquely positioned for him to receive Sai Baba's darshan automatically. Chapter 22 explains that Baba's daily path for alms in the morning went right by the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see Him as He went and came back. Additionally, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute all directions before returning to the Masjid. On the alternate days when Baba slept in the Chavadi, they were separated by only a plank door and would talk with calm minds after the other devotees had left, providing him with constant, close companionship.
