I heard about a devotee named Balasaheb Deo. What was the main spiritual struggle he was facing?

Balasaheb Deo's primary spiritual struggle was his inability to consistently read the Dnyaneshwari. According to Chapter 41, despite having a great desire to read it daily, similar to a daily reading of the Bhagavad Gita, he would always encounter some obstacle. When he did manage to take the book in hand, doubts would arise in his heart, which made the reading feel superficial and prevented him from developing a true love for the text. This was so challenging for him that his resolution to read even five verses, or Ovis, daily did not happen with regularity and enthusiasm.
